Anais Nin: You live like this, sheltered, in a delicate world, and you believe you are living. Then you read a book… or you take a trip… and you discover that you are not living, that you are hibernating. The symptoms of hibernating are easily detectable: first, restlessness. The second symptom (when hibernating becomes dangerous and might degenerate into death): absence of pleasure. That is all. It appears like an innocuous illness. Monotony, boredom, death. Millions live like this (or die like this) without knowing it. They work in offices. They drive a car. They picnic with their families. They raise children. And then some shock treatment takes place, a person, a book, a song, and it awakens them and saves them from death. Some never awaken.

Fall Into your swagger....

I have a question for you lover.

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU FELL INTO YOUR SWAGGER?

By this I mean, when was the last time you looked at yourself, looked at where you've come from and just wanted to absolutely relish the beast that is YOU? When was the last time you looked outside of yourself and really acknowledged the magnificent force of life that GOD has created? When was the last time you took a step outside of yourself and realized "I'm the sh....." or "I really can't stand how amazing I am right now. I think if I walk away from this mirror I will really need to find another one somewhere else cos' I think I just fell in love."
(Ok that was taking it a bit far..) But you know what I am talking about.

When was the last time you took a long hard look at your life and genuinely felt grateful for all the hard work it too for you to get to where you are now? Pull over to the curb in your 08 GTO or your Escalade or even for all you ballers out there, pull over in your Maybach and count up all of your blessings. Count up all the times you had enough saved up to help your fam or a close friend get out of a tight spot.Count all the times when you might have gotten robbed or fate took an ugly turn and you had the resources to bounce back WHEN OTHER PEOPLE WEREN'T able to. Count the time when YOU HAVE OR MAY HAVE HAD A JOB AS OTHER PEOPLE ARE LOSING THEIRS and are also losing everything they know and love. .Count all of your blessings... Don't worry I'll wait....

See. You have a lot to be grateful for.

Fall Into Your Swagger means you have a greater appreciation and humbling for all of the things you have worked hard for. Fall Into Your Swagger means you have accumulated a new sense of self and realize you are a vital part of the world around you. Fall Into Your Swagger means you ultimately KNOW YOUR MAGNIFICENCE.
Fall Into Your Swagger
means you will not take less than what you are worth. It means you cannot be touched, You wear your confidence as a shield and sward- attached to your body like second skin...Yes, you have a better sense of self.

It means you know the full extent of your worth and what kind of things you deserve and have reasonable expectations from the people in your circle.

With that, I say. Find a way to humble yourself and work on helping other people who need and deserve to be uplifted.
What would you do if the shoe was on the other foot? If everything was taken away?

Yeah
...lend that hand.

Peace Out,

The Ravishing, Amazing, Tantalizing, Devasatingly Beautiful, Bodacious, Magnificent wonder that is DJ CagedBird a.k.a. Raven Martin.
